Yes, I agree completely, and it's actually the rational for this post. I've hot rodded a Squire Jazz bass and an Epi T-Bird with some modest success and was looking toward my next project, but just can't find a body to fit a five string neck.

Thanks to all who responded! I'm fairly frugal, so Warmoth is probably not an option, lol. I will probably wind up making my own body at some point and would appreciate any advice you guys might have. Thanks in advance!
