Lol, Ya not for the play through, I got the grit tone running through a line 6 helix with the darkglass pedal and a cab impulse, Then I did a lot of multiband compression on the DI to get the low end just right, I put the kick above the bass in the mix cuz if you high pass above 80hz on that...

With 8 and 9 string guitars, why can't we try low c#0 and f#0 contrabasses? So here is a track I made trying to do just that! I feel like we need more of these. There's another video on my channel talking about me setting up the bass too if you're interested. Anyone else try experimenting this...
