Ampeg SVT Classic with an 8x10 ampeg cab! Tried and true. Amazing tone, nice and loud, thicccc, growly, it just makes me bang my head. Any bass I throw at it just has so much attitude. Honorable mention though, the fender super bassman t100 with a sansamp is a killer tone as well.

So I've owned a MIM Jazz Bass in the past but then picked up a VM Jazz and loved the VM Jazz 10x more. The tone was more growly and it even looked nicer. But now I wanna trade in my MIM Jazz for a Jaguar bass. But which is better ? VM or MIM?
