Dude! I just got out of a lesson and my teacher threw me a curve ball (kudos to him). He had some notes that i was to just play, and i dont know my notes I have to learn my notes and im starting tonight, i am going to put your exercise to the test! Im very optimistic, for what ever reason it...

I find for myself that if i sit and try to cram a lesson or practice session too long i get stressed out and wipe out constantly. On the other hand, if i do sets, like weight training, which i admit takes more time, i seem to enjoi practicing More…..i’ll set my bass down and keep coming back...

Gotcha, thank you. Im going to add some structure to practicing, i can do fret board knowledge and scales to warm up. Then practice the song i have been working on. I would usually just practice this new song i’ve been working on.

I try to practice every day, but i never learned the notes on the frets, I follow bass tabs. The tab sheets have music also, and i mostly ignore them, and im tired of not knowing where notes are… Where is a good place to start, i know youtube is loaded with videos but i would like to ask here...
