    Newish Bass

The Pickguard had "Issues" the Screws lined up and it fit at the neck, but the pickup hole was off by a LOT, about an 1/8" in the direction of the neck so it left a bit of a gap, the half circles for the pickup screws were too close together only on the bridge side of the pickup so they left a...

    Newish Bass

Several years back a co-worker needed some money and asked me to buy his Jazz Bass (Mex) it was Black with White Guard and Rosewood/maple neck... it lived in a Gig Bag for a long time then when I had my house fire, the smoke leaked through the gig bag and stained the headstock a little bit and...

Since it is not a "True" Sunn it is a Fender Sunn.... But what the heck? Had a Fire and when I went to salvage stuff the Grilles were all rusty and the powder coating had bubbled and peeled off. The bottom two speakers in the 410 were ruined the top two were still pretty solid. the 215 was a...

No problem, Security is a lock... Alright, ladies and gentlemen. It takes two people to secure a home: one back stage, and one out front. One man alone cannot do this. Wayne, you will run the backstage team. Milton, you are my liaison between Wayne's backstage team and Garth's front-stage team...

P bass vs J bass, have you switched?

My nephew had a Squier I don't know the model but it has a J width neck and P body with the "Hotrod" P&J pickup compliment. I preferred the J neck to the neck on my Hotrod P... But I prefer the sound of the P-Bass for my use. I have a P a J a 1951P and an Asian 12ver. I prefer the P-Bass.

I understand. I have never had one knocked off a hanger and we shoot pool at the pool table there all the time so always around the table. There is 6' between the wall and the rail of the table. Not arguing that it is not possible. What I plan to have are display frames behind the instrument...

Sketchy? Steel Hanger fastened to Concrete wall.... Unlikely to suddenly detach from the wall. But I feel ya. Having had PLENTY of instruments knocked off floor stands onto concrete etc... I guess leaving it in a case is my only other option. I plan to do display cases on the wall but have...

Any WAG on the value of it? I discovered when dealing with insurance after the fire that it would likely not be covered since it was not valued and itemized. Luckily I only lost one instrument in the fire... A jackson Dinky pro. Never really liked that one anyway!

I would love to know more about it. I never saw dad play it and I never played it out any. I bought my own. When I was growing up it sat in the closet and I got yled at if I picked it up. I don't know if there are any pictures of dad playing it anywhere. How do I contact Nacho Banos?
