Well, I currently have an ampeg 410hlf and it doesn't fit in the boot because the cabs too deep, so I have to lay it on its side and sit it across the back seats, and it barely fits through the door, so I don't think there's a chance of getting an 810 through that way.

Just wondering how very one gets their fridges around. I've found one for a great price, alas I only have a very small car which barely fits a 410. Any tips/ideas on transporting? And no, I can't afford a bigger car lol.

I have found an 810 Mesa cab for an unbelievable price, claims to be brand new and is less than half of the price. Seems a bit too good to be true IMO. Just wondering if anyone has heard of any cheap knockoffs, I am going to check out the cab soon so I will find out soon enough anyway.

the red led comes on, but that comes on pretty much at any volume, havent seen the yellow led come on which is probably a good thing? we are playing fairly small pub and club venues atm, the other bands that play with the same sound guy sound pretty tight so im guessing he knows what hes doing

the sound guy does DI the pa straight into the back of the amp . when he says "ok lets hear some bass" i start with volume at about just over halfway, he keeps saying more volume until its pretty much just before max volume. this has happened at 2 different venues with two different sound guys...

ok, so I am currently running an SVT 7 pro through a 410 hlf cab. The 7 is rated 1000w at 4 ohms, but the cab is only rated 500w at 4 ohms. I have been running the amp at pretty much full volume with no problem except a bit of a boomy distorted sound Could this potentially do any damage to...

when you say farting do you mean crackling and that sort of thing or just a distorted boomy sound? because theres no crackling at all. and how do u turn the tweeter down? I really do love the growl the 7 gives though. whenever I am doing sound check at a gig the sound guy tells me to keep...

Ok I think I just realised that both amp outputs are the same, 600w with a 8 ohm cab and 1000 with a 4. So is it safe to use the 410hlf at max volume or is there a chance it will blow the speakers.

yeah i get what you mean, and I've tried this, but when I play the higher strings, eg: d or g, i cant mute the b, e strings and the palm of my hand below my thumb cause those strings to ring. It just seems like I can't win :hmm:
