Yeah the Aguilar pickups and preamp are so good. Very transparent pre, and the pickups have a huge range of tone. Guitar Guys. I was surprised they let me use a coupon code on top of the already discounted price.

I was initially drawn to this colour when I was first looking at Spector; teal is one of my favorite colours, but I also kind of prefer the sienna stain, it's really nice. Love this top though and this particular one was a great price so it was a no brainer :).

As a long time guitar player, I kind of just accepted that the bass is uncomfortable by comparison and put up with the P bass because I like the tone. This one's like buttah. :D Definitely my new #1.

My new baby arrived today! Holy balls what a hell of a bass this is. Literally ticks every box for what I was after. The pickups are excellent, neck is chunky...it's so comfortable and light. Mind blown. I never REALLY jived with my P Bass...this one felt like home the second I picked it up...

I've noticed this a lot on active basses. I find I have to drop the pickups a little lower than I normally would to get rid of it. Maybe instead of adding relief, try lowing the pickups a smidge (either way it increases distance).

Thought I'd post another update. I still haven't heard anything from Tony's site. No response to support tickets. No entry to the Facebook group. I think it's safe to say the website is dead. I have submitted for a refund from PayPal and cancelled. On another note, Joe Hubbard is running a 67%...

So I recently picked up a Dan Briggs NS-2000/5 but I had to return it. The feel was amazing, but it was over 10 pounds and killed me lol. Coupled with the fact I hated the preamp...it was a no go. But this only served to fuel my want for a Spector even more because it felt so damn good to play...

Anyone know of a drop in replacement for these tuners? I can fill holes, but I'm lazy and I'd rather not lol. I checked all the Hipshot offerings and none line up perfectly. The HB10 seems the closest.
