Anyone know if the Sputnik body is chambered? I would imagine it is but I am not sure and couldn't find the info about it.

My Frog is pretty light as it is. I guess the good people at Maruszczyk figure chambering those bodies would be more trouble than it's worth.
I haven't seen a Sputnik in real life yet, but I have a Frog. I believe it would be technically impossible to chamber the body, I wouldn't know where.....

The Sputnik is not chambered, but do ask. Mine (a 5P) is headless, and while it's great on the strap, without it's quite body-heavy. Based on this experience, I imagine the standard (headed) Sputnik is well-balanced.

I cleaned it up and gave it a setup first. Action is nice and low, everything is very well finished. It's shockingly light. Neck is a bit on the thin side, but its comfortable, and the wider string spacing feels very familiar coming from my Precision. The bridge I found a fit finicky...was tough to get the B string into, but it's fine now. I hate the tuners...they are sloppy and feel low quality, which is unfortunate on an instrument of this caliber. I will be changing those.
The Delano's are really good. The precision neck is very close to my Fender but with a bit more clarity... which is exactly what I wanted... and the MM bridge is ballsy but also very warm. I love a P, but I might like the MM more, which is saying something. The preamp is very transparent. Bass boost and cut, treble boost and cut, blend...no weird alteration to the tone, no volume spike going from passive to active...very very usable (unlike the Spector I just returned).
In all I'm very impressed and I got a great deal on it, which makes it that much better.
Question for you guys: Has anyone any experience with the Mensinger guitars?
I have a Marusczcyk bass, which is a great instrument. The feel of the roasted maple neck is just incredible to me. Now I am looking for a Strat and I would love to have the same neck feel. However, the configuration I'd want would be about 2,000€, more or less, and I am not sure I want to spend that much on a Strat. I'd be perfectly happy with a good MiM modell, which wouldn't even cost half of that, but I would miss out on the neck. Besides, I do own a MiM Tele which I love playing as well.
So, what do you guys think? Anything I should be aware of on the guitar side that is different to the Maruszczyk basses?

Are you comfortable putting a guitar together yourself? I've had a tone of em and my MJT that I built beats em all. Amazing quality, and great value. I'll probably do a bass at some point.
Outside that I'd go for a used Fender American Pro II...fantastic guitars. Best production guitars Fender has put out in forever.
Unfortunately not comfortable at all. But thanks, it would have been a great option for somebody else.
I'd 100% go for an American Professional II strat then. There are special edition ones with roasted maple necks if that's what you're after, but I've tried them and honestly, their normal satin finish feels so good it's virtually the same. I wouldn't get hung up on it.
Anyone know of a drop in replacement for these tuners? I can fill holes, but I'm lazy and I'd rather not lol.
