    Owning Two Exact Same Basses

Does this answer your question? Fifteen RondoMusic Hadean, Chinese import violin/Hofner knockoff 21" scale bass ukes. Pat Wilkins did the finishes, otherwise they're all the same, modified by Eric's Guitar Shop with high mass bridge, mini humbucker neck pickup wired to the existing active...

    Which 9v batteries for active?

I did a search on Amazon, a bunch came up.

    Which 9v batteries for active?

I use lithium rechargeables, but only the kind that go in a recharge box. The ones that have a USB-C port caused me interference.

If You Were Doing A Gear Purge… How Would You Proceed.

I made it very simple, put them on Craig's List, $100 each no matter what they cost me(don't need the money), local pickup only. Twenty-seven were gone in five days, they took up way too much space.

Kala Journeyman U-Bass and Kala Flatwound strings. Weird intonation problem on E string

I had a very similar problem with a new Journeyman, to which I added those flats. I took it to an authorized Kala dealer, Sam Ash in Hollywood, CA. I went back a couple days later to find that the tech couldn't figure out what was wrong. He then brought out one of their Journeyman and it had the...

What is the absolute most bizarre, unusual, odd gig you ever played?

I can't say it's bizarre, unusual, or odd, but it's fun. Every year my ukulele group plays for the Screenland 5K run. It takes place along the street on the south side of Sony (MGM) Studios in Culver City. About 25-30 of us setup on the return corner of the race at 8am and start playing at 9am...

Which year represents you in terms of the highest number of album releases that you love?

Every Beatles album from 1964 to 1970, when I was 14 to 20.

What is the time limit for making edits

@brianrost - I think it's something around 1500 minutes, I don't like it. I'm also a member of the Ukulele Underground forum, which uses the same forum app. They don't limit the time an edit can be made, there's never been a problem with that. Too often, even when I proof read my post, I find a...

    Bassist and Spinal Issues club

FYI, it's not 'uke bass,' it's bass uke, following soprano uke, concert uke, tenor uke, baritone uke. People have that misunderstanding because Kala named their bass ukes U-Bass, which came from the owner of Kala, Mike Upton. He made a license deal with Owen Holt of Road Toad Music for his...

    Home/office printer recommendation needed

"Hey, can I take a picture of your settings?"

The only time was when I bought an new amp with multiple controlled inputs to leave in our rehearsal space. The leader decided to use that instead of bringing an amp each time. She uses a mic and ukulele, so we set the controls where she liked, then she took a photo in case I was not there.

How many cars have you owned and driven?

My first car in 1967 when I was 17, bought by my parents for my twin brother and I to share, was a red 1962 Chevy II convertible that we drove until my twin bought himself a Fiat 124 Sport Coupé in 1968. I then drove the Chevy into the ground until 1970 when it gave up. Shortly after, when I...

Warrior won't do it .... help finding someone else?

If you're near, or willing to ship, Eric's Guitar Shop in Sound City (that Sound City), Van Nuys, CA (Los Angeles area) is one of the best repair shops on the west coast, if the not the nation. Link: Eric's Guitar Shop. Tell him Michael Kohan made the recommendation.

What do you think of matching sunburst headstocks?

I like matching headstocks, burst or solid color. I have Pat Wilkins do the paint on my 21" scale bass ukes, he does a great job.

Best Bass to amp wireless rig

I've been using the Lekato 5.8 for years. It's inexpensive and works great. https%3A//www.amazon.com/dp/B07TYRQ222?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_9&th=1']https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TYRQ222?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_9&th=1[/URL]
