In my opinion, the audience should be cheering for the band. If someone gets noticed more than the others, then some changes need to be made. Everyone should play off of each others energy in a band and everyone should get their moment to shine.

No I did not know that. I really only know technique and can play well, I just don't know the notes. My main is flute so, it's kind of a big jump. I'm only just getting used to reading bass clef. And that seems kind of condesending, the way you worded it.
