Resurrecting so that maybe someone can expand on the answer. The V2 Bass Shift switch has 40Hz (up) and 80Hz (down) settings. I understand that these are center frequencies for the variable Bass knob. The Q (the range/bandwidth) of the Bass knob is unknown to me, does anyone know? 4-string...

Hmm, how does one achieve a 'whammy' effect on a (passive) bass? I have a GT-1B and none of the presets approximates that effect. I'm guessing it also involves using the expression pedal? LeoBass seems to use a pedal + volume knob manipulation
