    flash your bass skills

    Dude that was good stuff for only being 13. I started playing at 15 and could only play White Stripes Seven Nation Army. Keep playing and eventually you just memorize the feel of the neck and frets. Youtube is a good place to observe (not mimic) good bass players and learn new things.

    Fender 83' VJ P bass vs. MIA P bass

    I have an opportunity to buy a 83' Candy Red VJ P bass (a little beat up) but I can also save up ($600 more) for a standard brand new P bass. I've heard the VJ P bass's are rad but are they really that good? The guy is selling it for $500 but the major downer is this...

    G&L bass setup guide

    I would love to find a good set up. I find my G&L ASAT to be a little bright/harsh/and even too loud sometimes. Anybody have some tips or same thoughts?

    How I traded my Sadowsky for a Road Worn and did not regret it

    I've played NYC Sadowskys at my uncle's and they are the best things I've ever played. They are my dream bass. He has like 10! But then again everyone likes different sounds, shapes, feel, etc.
