TI Jazz Rounds are the slackest strings I've EVER played. They can also make a mellow PJ totally evaporate in the mix. But your pickup placement ought to counteract that. You might really like them.

Love the sound. Played many a SansAmp and definitely prefer the VXL. Only problem is it's noticeably noisy. Has anyone run across fixes for this? Chip subs or something?

I wish I could describe it better, but some cabs sound boxy, and I hate it. What makes them sound that way and how can it be avoided?
