+1 also check these sites out for ear training, the best way to remember intervals is by using songs to remind you of an interval. eg that wedding song, here comes the bride, the first two notes distance is a perfect 4th. you can find some examples in link 2 http://musictheory.net/...

Yeah I did find that between me and the other bassist he used to leave some weird settings, and i had settled it down a bit, but since the youth band has started playing they get some weird tones from the amp, i really just need to get used to checking the EQ before sound check.

@9mmMike I use a Squier VM Jazz fretless and i plug into the church's Behringer 15" combo amp, then that goes to FOH. I'm looking into buying a Markbass LMIII not sure what cab yet but i doubt ill get to use it at church.
