    Look at the MXR Bass comp... It's awesome. I've never played the Diamond Bass comp. But, Not a single man has said that it's any less than good. That thing is too popular to go wrong! :)

    How about Radial Big shot ABY? My brother uses one to switch channels on his amp.... Its an awesome stuff..... Pretty pricey though! :)

    MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe Noise

    Use the tech21 bass chorus! No noise at all!! and the MXR sounds awesome and that noise wont be heard with Ur playing! No worries mate! :) BTW I still recommend to check the power-supply and if possible to A/B between other chorus pedals.

    Ampeg Micro CL - MM Pickup Too Hot?

    New to Ampeg buddy?? CL does tend to be that way. Its not meant for being clean. VR has separate gain settings. It's cleaner. Try Tech21 VT Bass Deluxe (I am gonna buy one soon) (Use the Fxloop-send) For now... lower the Bass's volume, That's the easiest way out!

    Thanks man!! :) Live-wise (in a country where a amp-mic is rarely given......) VT Bass Deluxe seems a more practical option. :) So... I guess I already made up my mind! VR seems to have a grawly-er tone than CL (maybe It was the parameters) So, I don't feel its my style! :)

    I am not the most experienced of all bass-players but, wouldn't buying a DI and going straight to PA be a better option (in live conditions) AMPEG Porta-flex comes to mind....... or any other PRO-AMPEG's with Neo-Cabs or the Hartke Hy-drive Cabs be a much better option! :)

    I wasn't looking for a loud rig... Sansamp seem to have more tonal option than the CL..... The deluxe has 6-preset! and also I can have some pedals in Fx-loop and can put them on the pedal board!!
