This is the Reverend Thundergun. I bought it slightly preowned (very slightly) off of ebay. It's pretty much flawless. Very nice Korean built bass, but with good attention to quality control. On the light side at 8 lbs 3 oz. Comes standard with Ultralite tuners. Balance: perfect! Between the two pickups, it can do a wide variety of tones. I believe it's a keeper.

That's a very cool bass. I have a 2012 Reverend Decision in party red. Not sure if you know this bit of info, but the initials on the back, ZSG are for the chief inspector/set-ups, Zack Scott Green. Totally agree with the quality Korean build. Enjoy!

It is Korina with a so-called vintage clear finish.

The quality of the build is great. It easily rivals various American-made basses. The balance is perfect, probably partly due to the Ultralight tuners which come standard. I've had no issues with the neck, but I haven't had the bass all that long. The bridge is cool because it's got lock-down saddles. Once you adjust height and intonation, there's a screw to lock it all down. The neck is right up my alley because it feels like a P bass neck more than a jazz neck. It offers a wide variety of tones by blending the pickups and using the treble cut. I'm not impressed with the bridge pickup when soloed, but the pickups blended together sound great.

I am a big Fender fan and I have several Fenders and frankenfenders, but I dig this bass because it's different from a fender.

If you can get a nice used one, you can save a good deal of money versus new.
