    SOLD Hofner HCT-500/1

Hey! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the blank truss rod cover? I've read the german one (H65/37) is not compatible with this bass and I'd love to do the same upgrade to my club bass. Thanks!

    A stupid signal chain question

Sorry about that, I somehow understood it was an amp. In this case, you're absolutely right, there's no purpose on using the fx loop on this pedal if using the preamp out, other that wasting cable of course.

    A stupid signal chain question

Not a stupid question at all: FX Loops are usually line level so if the chorus pedal does not have a lot of headroom (like for example, most analog pedals) it will overdrive the signal. For digital pedals or rack gear it should be ok (and probably best) to use the fx loop, but it's not a rule...

    Fender Mustang Club

I went for Curtis Novak (normals, not the fat ones), the vintage sized are a perfect fit for the Vintera II. The factory pickups sounded a little weak and lacked a bit of definition IMHO.

    Fender Mustang Club

Thank you all for your answers! After a couple of years of thinking about switching from Precision to Mustang, I finally took the leap with a Vintera II and I coudn’t be happier! I had to upgrade some things (shielding, electronics, flats and pickups) but it’s now the best bass I’ve ever played...
