New to changing upright strings and on the NXT. I have a set of Spirocore. Do you cut the length at all? How many wraps are you putting on the tuning peg is using non- NS strings? I have them running properly through the back slots for the non-ns strings. just seems to be a lot of extra.

Similarly @ElGoodo I have been the original owner of one of these beauties for about 23 years. Great player of a bass. Definitely feels like going home every time I pick it up. Rarely has required any setups or maintenance. I did have the bridge re-glued at one point about 10 years ago...
