My new PB-50 has arrived and it has a straight neck this time :D I'm going to do a fret level and sheilding on it and I'm considering a refin too, not sure what colour though. I do like the blonde and maple Fenders but I also like Olympic white, maybe I should buy another and have one of each?

sorry! :D I was actually looking at the TB-70 earlier but i don't use my current 'bird enough to justify another.

i play my Epi with my right hand resting on the bridge and i use a pick, the weight of my hand balances the bass nicely ;) I have moved my strap buttons to the heel of the neck as people say and it helped a little, but with mine having a Fender neck it still dives as i think neck is heavier.

I believe the formula for the coating has been changed and the old coating liked to flake off. I have a set of Elixir steels and they're my favorite strings now!

Update on my wonky necked PB-50, I sent Thomann an email explaining the problem and got a reply about 20 minutes later. They have sent me a return label and are sending me a new bass :) @kodiakblair I've sampled deep fried Mars Bars in Moffat, they're better than they sound!

Guys i need a little help, my PB-50 seems to have developed a hump in the neck around the 14th fret which is causing all kinds of buzzy issues :( What is Thomann customer service for returns?

My 93 Korean P is my favorite bass, I don't know what work its had done but the neck is perfect and so is the fretwork. It has a ply body which doesn't bother me and its nice and light, i've just swapped the pickup and electronics for MIA Fender stuff as the standard pickup was a little weak and...
