Ironically I was able to retain the songs while practicing at home. Once on stage it was the "deer in headlights" syndrome and only remembered some of the parts. I will be working on getting better at it.

Hello I wanted to know if any of you have experienced difficulties on your first gigs. I thought I was prepared as I practiced the songs without rehearsing with the group. The gig came and my nerves got the best of me and practically jumped into survival mode to keep up. It was disappointing...
