Sorry just saw this…..posting now. Only 7 months late! Those arms are locked tight but can be lifted and folded into the wall when the bass isn’t on them.

There are arms underneath the bass to hold them as well as the elastic that goes around the necks. They are sturdy!

I tried to reply before and made a mess of things. Trying again. I just returned from Mtn.View where I met Leroy Deese. Quite a man! He let me borrow his bass to play in the jam for a while. I really enjoyed meeting him. At 88 yo he still rocks a bass!

I just finished my wall hangers for my basses! So excited!

When tuning a small 1/2 bass I have, I can tune all the string fine. I play G on the E string and it fine. F on the D string is fine. They are both in line with each other fret wise, but my C on the A string is not inline with the others, although the A string is int tune. I hope that makes...
