    Thanks all --- my bass magician Matt Bohn fixed it -- not with the missing plastic ring but with a small inserted metal disc --- it works and I'll be sure not to lose the pieces again....

    Double Bass Help me find parts for this endpin please!

    Hello there! I removed the endpin from the assembly for transport purposes and lost what I believe was a white plastic sheath with nubs that fit into the notches on the black ring in the photo. I thought I bought it from Upton but they have no info on it. Any suggestions/thoughts?
