    NBD. Greco SAB-120 (EB-2)

Definitely 34 - I have one. The pickup is a single coil under a mudbucker cover, so it’s a completely different and much cooler bass - possibly unique.

    Dual Showman + what cab?

This is what I settled on in the end. 4ohm OT on the 65 Showman as some had, 4 ohm Black Widow. Yet to hear the result as the Showman needs “bringing up” with a Variac. The Peavey was very little money and weighs a ton.

Single coil Maxon for Greco EB-2

This otherwise very nice Greco EB-2 needs putting back to stock. Someone shoehorned in another single coil with slightly different spacing so that’s why there is some minor woodwork and the cover has been messed with and painted black. Ideally I would like the Maxon pickup AND cover if anyone...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

I hadn't noticed that, but you're right. The first catalog PB1500 and the ebay bass both have the pickup further back, in line with and slightly behind the first knob. The second catalog pic has the pickup further forward, and also what looks like the 2nd generation Aria branded tuners...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Aria PB1500 by Craig Twining | Photobucket OK - found this set of pictures of a PB1500 - the knobs check out and there is a serial number - 078006. The tuners are as in the YouTube video - I suspect they are later than the catalog shot of the FB1500, and therefore probably also my ebay bass...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Having seen the catalog pics of the PB1500, I am totally jonesing for that one too, and this one hasn't arrived yet. Is there no end to GAS?

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

The bridge is a knockoff of the common 3-point Gibson/Epiphone bridge used in the 60's/70's. My Epiphone Newport has one (and the LP Sig, of course). The truss rod cover is the same as on the PB1500 in the catalog and most likely also the PB1500 in the YouTube video (the guy points out the...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

As was pointed out elsewhere, everything checks with the PB1500 catalog entry, but done to a lower price point. The bridge and particularly the tuners look the same. I'll have a look under the sticker when it arrives and see what's there.

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

OK - this from the Matsumoku forum - possibly lower-end equivalent to the PB1500 Same tuners, bridge, layout - but flat top, not carved, non-recessed jack, metal rather than wood plate for electrics. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] Here's a probably later...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Yes, nothing really adds up, although the unusual headstock and "The Pro II" logo are very similar to this 6-string. The split coil "Precision" pickup looks like a DiMarzio which could be right for mid-70's (the "later" Thor Sounds had a specific rectangular one). Seems a lot of work to fake a...

    Dual Showman + what cab?

Hi guys, I was on here some years ago re my LP Signature, but have had to rejoin due to long absence (I assume). I have a BF Dual Showman gathering dust and was trying to figure out a way to play bass through it at home without upsetting the neighbours too much. It likes 4 ohms, but will...
