As rugaar mentioned above, Peavey doesn't list 8" replacement speakers on their Speaker Usage Reference Guide. I put in a request also (and Im curious what they will say since they don't manuf. a bass cabinet w/ 8" spkrs), but figured since I was here I would ask if anyone has recommendations...
