Hi, Buy 800 :) i bought both a 350, and 800 too. I find not same. I suggest buy the 800, its mutch better sound. (I has BA12-3 slant, 112T, powered by 350 its hars, crude compared to 800, which is smooth, balanced sound - all knob same 12.00). 350 sound wearing- dont like, i didnt sent it...

I used compressor effect, treshold -50db, attack 0ms, release 600 ms Ratio 1:2 or 1:4

Does anyone have experience with double bass sound? (Red Acoustic) Sound falloff very very early, like no enough energy. Short bunt punch, no any edurance. It has noting to do with double bass sound. Has your variax same sound, or my bass is something wrong?

Great, thanks, i want use a AC adapter gived energy, to charging the batteries. These batteries use 9 V, 200-1000mA, I use 6x 2500mA AA cells. I think, it body has DC 9 V, when volume low, can use for charging. In newer variax, is already battery.

Im interested too, Or mayby battery charging option, inside of bass.

Hi, you need use "Monkey" software to upgrade firmware on Line6 hardwares. Make a regestration, Line6 site, and need registred our hardware too. if you make update, choise the "Clean" update, nothing to save it. I has same 700 bass, the E string was a very strong resonance. (E, F note 80-90 Hz)...

Did you problem with 1/4 jack? Becouse Variax has TRS jack (TS added R becouse 9V), the transmitter use same TRS jack. G10 or XVive similar price range, wich can you suggest me?

When i pick the E string, as usually, only one times, After attack of tone it is no fallof. In case E-G note Make louder and louder. Sometimes happend a fallof, but any times gain make itself. Need to touch the E string to tone down. Else make it killer resonance of the note on 80-90 Hz.
