Sure looks like a 30th anni...Pure awesomeness distilled into a bass. But it weights a ton, they`re much heavier than any other stingray I`ve tried. Uncomfortably so. Still want one though. Heh. What`s the price?

Anyone got any info on the limited 2005-edition? Just got myself a buttercream unlined fretless one. My first fretless bass...not much else to compare it to, but I think it plays great. I would really like to know how rare it is!

Does anyone know how an EBX Allegro would sound through an ampeg tube head (svt3 pro) and ampeg speaker (sv-15e)? How much of the "upright bass-sound" would be left (with enough tweaking), or will it all just be a growling rock-sound (which the ampeg is designed for)?
