What differentiates the Grabber from the G3? As I recall, the Grabber I had had both on it - I believe it said Grabber G3. One of the things I remember about it was how good it sounded direct to tape with no amp or effects.

I owned a Grabber in the early 80's. It was a great sounding bass. When I picked up my Kubicki Factor in '89, I traded it away for some long forgotten gear. Still regretting it.
