    Loopers for Multi Instrumentalists

Hi! I'm a multi-instrumentalist and recently got interested in using a looper. The idea is to play and loop my bass guitar first, then add a rhythm guitar layer on top, and finally solo over it all. Do you have any recommendations on how to achieve this setup? I believe I'd need a looper with...

Can't decide which amp to get

Thank you all for helping out, I went to the store today, and home I went with the Rumble 40v3. I was briefly testing it at home, I'm very happy with my decision. It has more than enough low end, it makes the furniture vibrate :)

Can't decide which amp to get

Two months ago, I bought a vintera series precision bass that I selected among 20 others because it produced the deepest bass tones. It is only now that I can buy a proper amp for it. I'm looking for something that brings out those low frequencies as good as possible at low volumes, because...

Thank you (bought my first bass)

The many helpful replies to my first post helped me make a decision, I finally picked a 50s Vintera precision bass in dakota red. I previously played all available basses in the shop in my price range (up to 2,5 k), so when I came back to the shop last week, I alread narrowed down my choices to...

    Newbie bass player questions

Then getting that Player Bass, which was unbeatable in terms of playability, and later installing the Vintera II pickups, might be the most logical way to approach my problem. Can you help me find those 50s Vintera II pickups? I searched online but couldn't find them for sale.

    Newbie bass player questions

I definitely will have at least two precision basses, and two jazz basses down the road. I have about 20 stringed instruments already, I love how each sounds and ays different

    Newbie bass player questions

I played a Sandberg bass, made in Germany. Wasn't impressed. They also had music man basses, but with too much glitter that didn't appeal to me. Unfortunately they don't have any Warwicks

    Newbie bass player questions

I actually played a Player Precision Bass, which was the most comfortable fender bass I played that day, and I played many. Do you think I can make it sound like the 50s vintera if I install the right pickups? I already searched online, and I haven't found the vintage 50s split coils...

    Newbie bass player questions

Thank you all. It's not that I don't like the neck on the Vintera, because I played two vinteras but one had a much fatter neck, even though they are supposed to be the same on paper. The other one was beefy too, but very comfortable to play, unfortunately it had a red finish, which I didn't like.

    Newbie bass player questions

I'm a multi instrumentalist, but newbie to the bass world. I play guitar, both acoustic and electric, mandolin, ukulele and the piano. I have to find out what bass sound I like. My approach is to go out and decide what my ears and hands like, rather than what is generally accepted to be the...
