I am looking for a bass and came across the Ibanez SR675. Noticing this spacing option at the bridge really confuses me, how does that even work? The nut is set where it is set, my brain is forcefully thinking that adjusting the string spacing at the bridge would make things really weird...

Yeah some of the guitars I was looking at was the SR series. I was going to make a new thread about this but I am looking at the 405, 505 or 675. I am going to use my Musicians Friend card and I would love to save the money and get the 405 but would the 505 or 675 be a night and day difference...

That's what he is leaning toward. We hooked it up to a crap 4x10 guitar cab and it sounded better than with his 2 15's. We couldn't run both because of the blown speaker. I made him tweak his 35 knobs on his bass guitar to back off a little of the power and it sounded much cleaner. Thanks...

Well right now he is using an Apeg 112 combo lol...Actually is loud enough to hear at practice (barely), sounds horrible live. We tried it :bassist: But he really loves the tone from that ampeg.
