Dont know if anyone can help I've fitted a set of EMG P5J set to a Vintage bass 5 string, but I'm finding that the volume is so much lower than my fretless 4 string also fitted with EMG's ? especially playing in live situations. Most noticeable is the difference between low B and higher strings...
