I've fitted a set of EMG P5J set to a Vintage bass 5 string, but I'm finding that the volume is so much lower than my fretless 4 string also fitted with EMG's ? especially playing in live situations. Most noticeable is the difference between low B and higher strings
I'm playing through a Hartke 500wat amp and 1x15 plus 2 x 12 cabs, i'm still in the process of trying different set ups on the amp at rehearsals etc but still haven't solved it yet
any advice appreaciated
