Show your tidy pedalboard!

I just picked up an Interbass, mainly for practice at home with headphones, but I’m real excited to get it hooked up to a cabinet. I was shocked how good it sounded all on its own, bass straight in, just in-ears and the cabsim.

Gotta get a speaker cable from the practice space.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your setups - I’ve got the adapter to run it from the DC7 on the way, and I managed to track down the in-line rocker cables to allow powering it up separately from the board.

Looks like I'm in an Allman Brothers & Grateful Dead cover band. Less familiar with the Allmans, big into the Dead. This is the board for tonight's rehearsal. Gigging setup may be different.

Love the Beta DLX going through the Analog Alien, especially with flats.

This one only barely qualifies as tidy, but the challenging nature of it is unique.

The primary purpose is to control an Axe-FX 2, so we have a combination of DC power, TRS cabled expression pedals, ethernet, and screw-in solderless for the instrument, which essentially just hits a buffer/line driver to compensate for long cable runs in the home studio.

How's that Mutron III?! I had a Microtron IV but didn't bond with it.
I like it a lot! I had the IV a while back when they came out but could never bond with small enclosures with two footswitches. Sounds great on both bass and guitar. I haven't had a problem with its filter response either, very natural dynamics I've found. Settings in that picture are my go-to for Garcia-style guitar tones. Though it varies from pickup to pickup.

Thank you! Definitely something to think about.

Finally got the gumption to put a couple boards together this week. The last 18 months had been kinda difficult ,so I haven’t been able to play out. In January of 2025 my wife was diagnosed with cancer, which sucked a whole bunch. Her treatment and recovery became life’s focus and being a caregiver for someone enduring that is very consuming. Add to that I switched careers and started working in public education, needless to say that life got busy for a minute.

This weekend I decided it’s time to get back to making live music. The act of putting a few pedalboards together for the first time in almost 2 years feels highly satisfying.

Anyway thanks for reading my ramblings. Have a great weekend everyone!

Nice board!
How do you like the CTS Cyclone? No low end loss?

I added a phaser on my board for Thin Lizzy/ Stranglehold vibes.
I tried but was not quite satisfied with the EQD Grand Orbiter, MXR Phase 90 and the Catalinbread Many Words.
I now have the Boss PH3 from my guitar pedalboard (great for Khruangbin!).
I was pleasantly surprised, the Boss works quite well.
I see the CTS Cyclone has a dry blend knob though so I'm intrigued 🤔
