A year later, reading this post.... Still there is no extra cabinet. No need for it. For all the gigs I have played I never had to go full power on the Trace. It is a very good compagnion!

Watch videos of live performance closely and you'll see even the stones or whoever using the famous grolsch rings. Can't beat the taste aswell!!

For long time I played cheap stuff only. So american is out of the question. The cheap stuff sometimes really can be better then anything when you get lucky.

I played a Stagg electric upright once at the store. The height was even lower then 5mm, almost undoable for me to play with. But I'm guessing higher then 5mm might be too high for a bass like this. Bass sounded nice and I think the action might be just right at 5-7mm

reading this site gives me that if the combospeakers are 8 then with my extra cab it would give 2,666 resistance. If the combospeakers are 4 then it would be 2ohm. How to find out if the trace can handle it? Either way the amp must be suitable for 2ohm right?
