Update: Sadowsky Blues on my 2018 American Professional P bass with Vintage 63 pickups sound incredible. So much clear bass fundamental. No mud. They will likely outlast me. Thanks for the speedy service from the Talkbass store!

Hi Murph: $800.00 US is OK. But I see a music store in Drummondville, Quebec is selling a white Performer P bass for $799.00 Canadian! Regardless, it certainly is a good time to buy a new or used bass.

Dec1975: I'm curious. Did you sell that bass solely for financial reasons? I have sold P basses but never regretted doing it. But I would be hard-pressed to sell any bass I liked that much, knowing that it would likely cost more to replace it.

59jazz: Depending on what other basses you have already I would wait until a US P bass comes along. Or lay out a bit more an buy a new American Professional P bass.

I have never had a truss rod that moved because of anything......regardless of the weather. Something else is wrong here.Maybe the neck bolts are not as tight as they should be.
