    what basses haven't worked out for you... and why?

    Anything with 5 strings and a 35 inch scale. I loved how tight the B string was on my Roscoe and my Modulus Genesis. My hands aren't big enough and those basses just wore me out when I played near the nut.

    Two things I love about the responses here: 1 - bass porn (keep the pictures coming), and 2 - the diversity represented here. Bass players are far more willing to step out of the box than our guitar playing brethren. Looking at your responses has been an education.
