Been gigging using the fx on the fm3 . In originally got it for guitar been thinking about picking up an hxstomp for bass though. The effects seem more practical for bass and the size.

If I owned this rig I'd probably keep it as is for a while till could get my "ideal" rig. You maybe be on to something thought I do like the hartke 500w head too. They are straight forward and to me sound pretty clean.

Ignoring the clutter . The rig I am borrowing right now is essentially a no frills hartke amp and it does sound good and works well , just the cab weight is really a “problem”
