So I used my rusty with my digitech octave and I have to say it's a great combo!

Use it with a Jazz and it is real nice! My Precisions with DiMarzio pickups sound killer too

My store in syracuse ny had them. They are relatively new.

TopMarc, I have a feeling this will get you the tone you want with your octave. I just bought one at Guitar Center for 50 bucks and I plan to use it for sabotage and gratitude by the Beastie Boys. I have used big muffs and a variety of other brands this Rusty fuzz is a keeper for $50 I think...
