    JACK CASADY BASS PLAYERS CLUB!

It feels really solid and connected. There is excellent sustain and sounds great with my Flint. I can get that thump, and is nice and dark as others have suggested when it comes to the labella’s. It was a breeze to set up with the bridge, but the additional weight in the bridge and strap pin...

All done. Hipshot bridge, Labella DTFs, strap pin to the upper horn and Dunlop strap locks. Plays lovely. However the previous owner and unbeknownst to me, didn’t know how to adjust a truss rod. Relief is fine for you however.

    Stingray 5 worth it ?

When I picked up my 4 string EBMM Stingray Special, I played the 5 string version in the shop. When I got home I had regret not going with the 5. The 4 Is an amazingly instrumental but the low b on the 5 haunts my dreams.

I have recently become very interested in the simplistic, less knobs, always on board, and I dig the two knob caveman. However I was curious to know how much heavy lifting is the EQ doing? Is it a must have to make the caveman bp1 useable?

The bridge may be just fine, but I’ve had some negative experiences with an old Thunderbird. So it’s a little bit pragmatism, and I like the look. Custom Novak would be amazing!

Are you using the dtf? I have read they can be dark, which I am totally cool with.

    JACK CASADY BASS PLAYERS CLUB!

I’ve always wanted a hollow body. This popped up at a great price, in mint condition with its original hard case. It would have been to not bring it home. I’ve got a hipshot bridge on the way. Now to choose which strings. I already have a two unused sets of labella dtf and ltf. I’m leaning to...

Minimalist Pedal Board? - Live Gigs in Country Style

I am currently going through some testing, but this is looking like minimal setup, as I am planning on building a big board. It will cover my alt country travel gigs and all of my metalcore gigs. HPF underneath.

@BassicJazzy Well, Im glad you asked! Its an always on vintage true bypass stereo tone shaping buffer mascot. I also keep hair and grit inside of it.

Had to pull the BBJ off for another board and project. I didn’t really need much dirt in this alt country band anyway. Capo should be able to give me enough drive. The Flint is a wild card, I have always wanted to use one. It sounds great at home, we’ll see in a band context.

    EBMM StingRay Special Club

I can also say I am now apart of the stingray special club. I did try a Jackpot 5 at the shop before settling on a safe black 4.

Jam Pedals Rattler Bass vs. Backburner Noise Big Booty Judy

I’ve owned and used the TAFM and Rattler and Big Booty Judy. I regret moving the TAFM on. However I really enjoy the Big Booty Judy. I’d like to echo Bleezar on their comment on the Rattler being polite and gentle, great description. Easy to squeeze something nice out of it. It has a place but...

Minor refresh to the board for 2026. Boss CE-2 replaced with the Big Booty Judy. I felt the need for more dirt.
