Ok I have gotten a matching 410 and it appears to be the fix. Even though I lost that lower bottom end, there is no more busted speaker sound. I have adjusted the EQ and the sub bass driver on the amp as well. The sound is smooth and sweet. Thanks all

yeah its a great amp for recording bass at just the right tone.. un fortunately its not enough for my bands live performances.. but we got one and and I am glad we do for our studio - 80's kid here so all know is hair metal and settled into southern country rock for a living.. cant complain...

This thing is perfect for big stage, big show production. Great for touring and I would take it myself if I had $ - I have actually used it once with a Carvin B1500 head, no complaints - bump for a friend!
