Bought it used and the only thing wrong were the knobs. They were very cheap plastic ones and I jate to file a claim for just them. Something is fishy but the rest of the bass is fine...thanks for the link.... Rob
Please Help! My Bee Stinger arrived yesterday with broken push on knobs. If anyone knows where I can get replacements, please let me know. I've tried allparts, the internet, and even Bee Basses. It's lonely having a work and being knobless!
If anyone knows where I can locate small push-on knobs for a Bee bass, I would be eternally grateful. I've tried allparts, the internet and Bee Basses. My beautiful Stinger arrived yesterday with broken knobs and this is bugging me!
What you need to do:
a. Go to a bunch of music stores.
b. Try every bass you see (brand does not matter- you just want to check out string spacing)
c. Keep in mind that you should concentrate on string spaicing and nothing else (neck radius will be next...but that is a different story)

:crying:I have read everybody's reasoning on why the Alembic sounds bad- it is not the amp (though a cheap amp will make a cheap sound)- nor is it the bass player- it is the Spoiler electronics! Spoiler electronics are notorious (spelling is not my strong point) for their limited "clanky" sound...
As a Modulus owner and someone who often buys bassess online- RETURN THIS THING.
a. A partly refinished Modulus is worth only 1/2 of what you paid!
b. Those are cracks in the wood- not just the finish!
c. If the previous owner did not disclose this obvious and terrible flaw- that person...
