Didn't say you were flying. I am sure it is perfect. Yes it is better to have a unit in a case. It's just not a "flight Case". Those are a higher level of protection. The normal rack cases cannot handle an air line flight ask me how I know.

I could offer the same advice of many posters here but since they already covered it, I would say this, if you buy a 1000 Watt Amp it will handle your band and anything you might run into in the future. Don't spend money twice end the issues once and for all.
