I'm looking to possibly get a bass overdrive in the near future. So I've heard some clips of the Darkglass BK7 and absolutely loved that tone, but cringed when I saw the pricetag. Is there anything out there that will give a similar tone to the darkglass (so probably something tube driven??)...

And I think I am going to try some D'addarios, because that's what guitar center has right now, and I don't feel like ordering strings online and having to wait for them haha.

Looking to replace the strings on my 6 string ibanez Sr506. I play mostly metal. Thinking of going with either DR or D'addario strings; I've heard good things about both. And price really isn't an issue for me; I'm looking to get a nice set that will last awhile. Any reccomendations? Thanks!
