I already swapped two basses out with oem 9pins if i wear these out I will def get the switchcraft regular ones as i have never worn one of those out. thanks

looks like it will work but i already ordered the nine pin. I like the switchcraft one simply because you can see the contact and bend it a little if it gets worn. plus switchcrafts have always worked well on my other guitars. we shall see. Thanks for the wiring order too.

Thanks, I love em I have 3 of em. All of them have been beat to death. jacks are just worn out i suppose.

I thought it was amplified parts but for 6 bux i just ordered again got a couple since i have same problem on two different basses.

So where would I get a new American made input jack for my basses. They seem to want to pop out and not sit/lock solid and tend to cut out. these bases are 18v active with passive switch so need a jack to support it. Having trouble finding a good source or even an upgrade that will work.

So bottom line I was using the svt pro7 with sansamp di in the effects loop to keep it semi transparent but give it the extra warmth and punch/volume without clipping which was great but I’m not a fan of extra pedals n prefer clean no nonsense power but the Genzler Kinetix 800 will punch a hole...

I thanx Jeff this thing is very nicely built and sounds amazing like I said I have been loyal ampeg for 30+ years but weary about the quality of the newer line. I’m really diggin this one and glad I did the research and made purchase. It’s a ripper so far

Thanks for all the replies I went with the Genzler KINETIX 800 mostly because I wanted something different than the average Joe and it gets rave reviews I will say this ….it doesn’t suck! I love My SVTs but this little guy kicks ass too so I’m going to give it run.
