Thanks, I got the answer I needed. I build basses & usually cut the nut to a heavy 3/16". The material is easy to come by and comes in black as well as a bone color. For the builders out there, I pick it up free as remnants from counter top fabricators.

Does anyone have any experience with nuts made of Corian. Carvin offers nuts in this material but there is no feedback on it. Thanks
