    Just got a mystery bass

    There was a time back in the mid-'80s when Epiphone ("by Gibson") made a bass with a very similar headstock. But the brand name was etched right onto it and it had a pickguard and black hardware, so that's probably not it.

    Gorgeous instrument! I was going to make a post about how the knobs are one of those little touches that just show an extra bit of care going into the construction, then as I scrolled I saw that you'd make them yourself. What impressive work!
