Been running it out of mainstage on my laptop and using massive and other "in the box" synths to build some pretty epic tones. I use the foot controller for Taurus sounds and also to do some live side-chaining for keyboards. Fun stuff!

I was told by a friend of mine that builds pedals and pedalboards that boss effects (and others like them) can be useful as buffers in your signal chain. as a side note there's a bunch of vintage ad discontinued boss effects that are pretty sweet like the hyper fuzz.

I don't use compression on my board ever because I like to play dynamically and have more subtle control over my tone. That being said, my FOH engineer will throw a 1176 plug in on my DI signal going to the PA so there isn't much point of me using one in my signal chain.
