Sorry to butt in chaps, but I'm looking for a pedal that would a) provide a volume boost, and b) push an amp to overdrive so you get that 'natural crunch'. Would an EQ do the job here? I've tried many overdrives/distortions and just hate the sounds they make.

Hi guys, Just to let you know, I bought the ACS Pro 17 plugs recently and gigged with them the other day. Very comfortable and VERY flat across the range, with excellent protection as you would expect from a custom plug. Highly recommended.
