I think "Pork and Beans" by Weezer is a fun one. haha You have to be a little YouTube savvy to 'get' it...but it's good!!

Oh, you're not! I fell asleep listening to punk and had a dream that I was the lead singer/bassist for the band and we were playing a huge stadium with thousands of people in it!! I woke up and had to laugh. Yeah, right. hahaha But it WAS a cool dream. ;D

That sucks. I'm getting used to the 'over 18' things. It's annoying. Anyway....a few days can't matter that much, can it? I don't know. I've never tried to get into one of those yet....haha

I played alto sax, hated it (the practice I mean...) and quit. Then I started piano and fell in love w/ it. Then bass happened *sighs* SO beautiful! Ok, done w/ the drama. I just love it!! :)

I was listening to Anberlin and heard the amazing bass in the background as soon as I'd turned on the "bass booster" on my walkman. Amazing. I'd wanted to play guitar.....but soon realized that the part I'd been hearing was a BASS.....not a guitar! So, yeah. That's when I fell in love. :D

A band is like a cookie. (haha, I know..) Say the guitarist is the.....I don't know......baking soda. Without them, the cookie's ruined (depending on the cookie...). Same with any instrument. So, there. I don't HATE guitarists. Their attitudes towards bass players CAN suck, however.

So, if one is not allowed to begin playing until they're 16, is it too late? :hmm: I mean, if that same person has taken piano for two years and has no itention of quitting that instrument, how long would it take to pick up bass? :confused: I've always wanted to play bass, but 1) I have to pay...
