I had a lead guitar, toy drum set from Toys R Us :), and an electric bass when I was around 7 or 8 but there was a piano in the house before I was born.

I started on piano and messed around with guitar and drums before settling on the bass. Now I'm back learning what I SHOULD have learned on piano during that time.

Yep, you definately need to allow for multiple choice in this poll!

Transverse flute (actually got pretty good with flute, played it for about 5 years in school, until they scheduled me for math classes at the same time as flute/orchestra was held - couldn't change either time periods, and I couldn't afford to miss two math classes a week, so I gave up the flute - still have it, but only play it occasionally.)
Recorder (both alto and soprano)
mountain dulcimer (still have two and occasionally give lessons)
Acoustic (folk) guitar (didn't like it much and gave it away)
fiddle/violin (hated it and sold it pdq)
autoharp (still have one in storage somewhere)
banjo (played about one year and gave it away)
mandolin (got broken during a move and never replaced it)
