For the money I like Roto sound swing for my TRBPII5. Low beams are great but break the Bank.

I have a 1981 Ric 4003 fire Glo that an acquaintance is trying to sell me. I like the bass because of its different sound as compared to my TRBPII5. Not sure if I want to buy. He was looking for $1200. I told him that was high. I thought more along the $750 range. Any thoughts from you RIC guys...

Play the active jazz bass.

I am thinking about going to an in ear monitor. Stage space for wedges as well as loud guitars are starting to erk me. Any suggestions on equipment as well as quality ears for good bass response?

I have owned many 5 string basses. Fender American jazz. Warwick corvette standard to name a few. I have to say Trbpii5 That I play now is the best. Its play ability is amazing. Sound is huge. I can dial in any sound I want. Defiantly worth finding one. You can not compare it to any other Yamaha...
